Ragala 24 Gantallo (2019) Movie Review

All in all, Raagala 24 Gantallo is a watchful suspense thriller that is narrated wittily. There are no major twists or turns but the presented excitement holds the interest of the viewer decently. So, come in with low aspirations as this weekend's movie finishes with a quick time pass watch.

Any good thriller's most important aspect is to unravel the plot in such a way that it keeps the public gripped right through. However, the director Sreenivass Redde has included too many irrelevant side tracks in Raagala 24 Gantallo that hampered the film's main plot.

The movie is highly influenced by Invisible Guest, a Hollywood thriller, with a few minor tweaks in its screenplay, but lacks the slickness of the original and appears as a disjointed potpourri of random sequences. Rahul (Satyadev Kancharana) is a famous photographer of fashion who falls for Vidya(Eesha Rebba) as soon as he turns his eyes on her.

Eesha Rebba gets a spicy role and she's doing her character supremely well. With her emotions, she is pretty good and has done well in all the key scenes. In the role of his cop Hero Sriram was good, and so was Ganesh. In his tiny but successful role, Ravi Varma has been amazing.

Vidhya, the orphan loves him back and marries them. Yet after their marriage, things go wrong and Rahul dies in a mysterious way. How Rahul is involved in the murder of model Meghana (Musskan Sethi) and how Vidhya uncovers the dark secrets of her husband is the subject of this film.

The film begins with heavy rain, a police investigation, a woman in lone panic, and a dead body. The characters are in a big mansion, in an attempt to bring about a crime thriller 's mood, but the director takes us quickly through a flashback of a rather dull love story between the lead pair.

Although there are no major twists and turns in the film, it was narrated in an engaging note. There aren't many dull moments in the movie because director Srinivas has kept things up to speed. Muskan Sethi has been alright in her role.

The story has lost its grip by the time the audience realizes the film's plot. The second hour is even more enjoyable though, and the crowd gets a few entertaining moments. The twists and turns are often presented in an entertaining way, similar to the film's first half. The script has a new feel and the background music has always performed well.

That being said, during its climax, Raagala 24 Gantallo goes completely awry, and thus a captivating storyline turns out to be dull. Eesha Rebba does a fine job as the lead actress in a meaty role after a while, while Satyadev has been successful in his role as a photographer with grey shades. Other actors such as Ganesh Venkatram, Ravi Prakash and Sri Ram make their presence known, too.

Raagala 24 Gantallo is a textbook example of a faltering good script in its execution. That thriller leaves us with more questions than answers, unfortunately.
